Therapy can be beneficial for anyone experiencing stress, emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, or simply wanting to understand themselves better. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit. If you're curious, a free intro call is a great first step with no obligation.
This varies greatly depending on your goals and what you're working through. Some clients reach their goals in 8–12 sessions; others prefer longer-term support. We'll regularly review progress together and you remain in control of when to continue or conclude.
Yes. Everything discussed in our sessions is strictly confidential under professional ethics and Dutch privacy law (GDPR). The only exceptions are situations where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others — and even then, we'd discuss it with you first whenever possible.
Yes — video sessions via a secure, GDPR-compliant platform are available and just as effective as in-person therapy. They're a great option if you travel frequently, live outside Amsterdam, or simply prefer the comfort of your own space.
Session fees are discussed during the intro call. Some sessions may be partially reimbursed by Dutch health insurance (basisverzekering) depending on your policy and diagnosis. I'm happy to help you navigate this.
I ask for at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be charged. I understand that emergencies happen, and we'll always try to find a solution that works for both of us.
